Hello everyone, my name is Emma. I am 14 years old. I came to this site in 2010 and became extremel involved in every aspect of it. After maybe 8 months, I stopped writing. I just didn't/couldn't/had no desire to. I then came back and left a few times...even going as far to close my account for two periods of time. But I am back...hopefully. As I've aged another year, I feel so passionately about music, people, life's many questions, and the beauty of human nature. TUMBLR and twitter are my safe havens. YouTube is my best friend at 2:00AM.

It's been a year; my writing has changed; my life has changed; my interests have changed a little; my feelings have changed a lot; so it's time for a new About Me.

Well, I have just finished my last year with the best grammar/literature teacher ever and I have only what she taught me to go on by due to the fact that my future LA teacher is a complete dud of a teacher. Wow, that was a long sentence. Maybe the grammar half of what she taught didn't work very well with me.

I still like most of the books I did when I made the first version of this. Actually that "most" only excludes Twilight. I have since moved on from the poorly written, in-need-of-a-plot-chart, ridiculously awful, fluff series.

And I know I have very few friends left on here. While some have moved on, others don't come anymore, while others have blocked me for unknown reasons, please know I still care for you.

Oh, and in case you don't already know, I am 13 years of age. I didn't say before because I didn't want people thinking "Hey, she's only 12, I wont be harsh and I'll just say it in a nice way". Oh and hence the "please be brutally honest" on my earlier pieces, which I think are better than my current pieces; riddled with hints of trying to hard and a lack of innocence and unknowing youth.

I will be shortly leaving for a 3 week excursion in which you will not see me, but I vow to bring back many poems due to the nature of my trip.

I am a young writer. I love to write free verse poetry, realistic fiction, fantasy, and will try just about everything. Like many others I am inspired by J.K. Rowling but do not try to recreate what is already wonderful. I feel as though this is what I am meant to do, I feel gravitated towards this difficult career and lifestyle. In the past I have started many stories and never finished them, most merely ideas in a moment of inspiration. Throughout school I have always loved to write. People who have just met me have told me that I speak like an old book and clued in on the fact that I am an aspiring writer. I always pause and search for the right words to say, and much to my friends dismay, I always correct them. Other books that I adore are (obviously) HARRY POTTER, Sarah Dessen novels, Beautiful Creatures, Little Women, Pretty Little Liars, What I Saw and How I Lied, Anne of Green Gables, THE HUNGER GAMES, and too many more to name. I've never been a journal girl. Anything major that I need to say I will tell my friends or say it out loud. I always stand over to the side at parties, never in the action but always watching. Long story short, writing is my passion and it's what I want to do with my life.
