I am a first-time author working on a 200-250 page sci-fi drama novel full of suspense, comedy, and complex relationships between its characters. If it is successful, I may continue the story as a multi-novel series. The story is set in 1975 American suburbia and follows a troubled youth struggling with friendships after discovering what could be an extraterrestrial presence, attempting to realize his late father's dream of exploring the secrets of outer space and to impress his eccentric, light-minded friends.
