Will

I like to come up with stories, but I have a hard time convincing myself to write them down. I have an especially bad habit of creating universes so elaborate that I am afraid to write stories taking place in them.

I want to write a science fiction or fantasy novel that is different from the great multitudes of mideocre stuff I see in the bookstores. Whoah, I sounded kind of pompous right there. I just mean, I want my writing to stand out in some way. I usually write with a little bit of quirkiness in the characters and settings, my plots are usually serious, but don't take themselves seriously, if that makes sense.

For now I am just going to try to write some short stories, experiment with various genres. I like getting feedback, so please do post any thoughts at all :)
