I live in South Boston. I grew up here in Massachusetts.

Several years ago i was diagnosed with major depression (cliche i know) but before that i nearly killed myself. I am a recovering self mutilator, which, no matter how hard you try, makes itself felt in your writing.

I'm also a trained biologist, which definitely influences the way I see the world and which also makes itself felt in my writing.

Thirdly, I'm gay, also clearly visible in my writing.
