About Me

Hello.

I'm a senior at UW-Green Bay, where I am an English major with a double emphasis in literature and creative writing. I'm graduating in May, and intend to find a job editing a newspaper or a magazine.

Fingers crossed.

I guess I should throw in a disclaimer. A bit of an FYI, if you will.
When I review works, I call it how I see it. You may agree, you may not, but I rarely stick to just the positives when I write a review. Literature is art, and art of all forms is meant to be interpreted in different ways. Bear in mind, of course, that I am just as eager and just as anxious to receive your constructive criticism along with your compliments. See something in one of my pieces you don't like? TELL ME! Don't worry about hurting my feelings! Trust me- I'm here to improve my skills as a writer. If I wanted a pat on the back, I'd take my work to my mom. I'm looking for help, and I'm counting on you to give it to me. Tear my work to shreds! :)

A Fantasy

Her voice is like clear water
That drips upon a stone
In forests far and silent
Where Quiet plays alone.

Her thoughts are like the lotus
Abloom by sacred streams
Beneath the temple arches
Where Quiet sits and dreams.

Her kisses are the roses
That glow while dusk is deep
In Persian garden closes
Where Quiet falls asleep.

WELCOME !

I always believed we can learn from anyone,
even chilren`s books sometimes contain things
we do not know.
If this is true you may even be able to learn from
us at Writers`s Cafe.
