Writing is something i just enjoy. It is a pleasant outlet for emotions, thoughts, and opinions. I've been doing off and on writing since i was very young playing with my Legos creating storylines. My stories are my own because i write them on my own time and when i feel that i have accoomplished what i set out to do. They appear most as journal entries. I try to write based on how i feel at that moment in time. If i feel sad, i will create a poem that is sad. If i am happy, my writing will refelct a certain pleasantness. It is not because i use this literally as my journal, but rather that i endeavour to capture the human emotion that we all feel so that when you read a piece of my work, you can connect with it personally.

The best advice i have ever had in writing came from my 11th grade Honors British/American Literature teacher. We had to write a paper on Beowolf and he neglected to give a page limit. When one girl asked how long it should be he said, "Write until you're done."
