About Me
The great joy of writing fiction is that you get to play God and not feel bad when you ruin peoples' lives. In stories, all the things we detest in day-to-day existence is acceptable; we want drama, intrigue, hate, murder... some of us embrace the darkness and find beauty in it.
Now, welcome to my page. I am Drifter, a weaver of worlds and a dreamer of the improbable. In truth, I am a dash of arrogance, a glob of self-confidence, a whole heap of intelligence, a tub of creativity, a forest of fire, and the universe full of potential. I see the world differently than most people. I see beauty in darkness, serenity in the night, and poetry in even the most ugly of things. My existence is not lived at half-speed. I am a driven, uncompromising, fiery, passionate, hopelessly romantic, pragmatic, uniquely contradicting amalgamation of opposing ideas. I'm a trendsetter, a new cast to make your molds to, and someone you'll always remember. I'm me and I'd have it no other way.
I'm here to hone my skill at writing horror. I like to terrify, to challenge the way people see the world. Also, I write fantasy, but with gritty undercurrents, or drama, usually laced with tragic elements. Poetry is my freewriting; I use it to warm up when I'm getting ready to write longer pieces of fiction.
If you read my stuff, feel free to comment. If it needs work, point that out. A person can't grow if they don't know what they need to do.
