Hi Everyone,

I'm starting to realize that my passion, while hidden for so long, lies in the written word, as opposed to the voice, art, or anything else. I didn't think i wanted to become a writer, but I've recently embraced the thought.

Having started a novel a few years ago, I tossed it aside, keeping the idea in the back of my head. I started one last year, and have been obsessed with it ever since. Putting myself through college, I also took on the idea of writing short stories and selling them, but I haven't finished one just yet. I've also been an avid poet, writing poetry off and on, mostly free-verse.

i hope that by joining here, I can improve my writing skills and keep my writer's block from flaring up.
