Writing--storytelling--has had a special appeal for me since I was a child. When I write, I lose track of everything, even myself. I love creating worlds and people, lives both large and small. It is a heady experience, to be the creator of universes! Hmmm--perhaps that should say Creator of Universes! Yes, that looks better.

I have to know the story behind everything. In history books, I always wonder about the individuals, and what they thought, felt during those times. When my husband gets a new xbox game, I am invariably online, finding out the backstory (and let me tell you, the plot holes in Gears of War irritate me to no end). In my own story, I am the proud mother of four often obnoxious children, and plan on "going pro" with my writing next year, when my youngest goes to school.

Dreams are the heart of humanity. Without them, there is not much to differentiate us from a cow...except maybe the opposable thumbs. Eleanor Roosevelt said "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams," and I firmly believe that. What does a Dragonfly dream of? Come in and see.
