About Me

When I first came to Writers Cafe, I was looking to interact with other writers who appreciate the craft of putting thoughts on paper in ways that will change hearts, change minds, and change the world of literature as we know it.

However, I have had the unwelcomed pleasure of finding myself in the world of elitism. A place I always felt was reserved for evangelicals and politicans. I find it disheartening that many on here have felt shut out by the loffty ideas of a select few who feel that acceptable pieces of writing encompasses what they themselves dictate as acceptable expression.

I do not write to satisfy and it is very possible (as well as hopeful) that I write not to meet the guidelines of anyone, but to simply show that I am an artist, and one that will disrupt this standard of what determines that which is "good" and that which is not. I write not to please, but to prove that I will not allow my one real freedom as a human being to be changed simply because I do not fit inside the box.

I appreciate those who stop by to read my work. I read works, but I do not always comment because usually I have nothing to say. That does not mean I think the piece is bad, sometimes it just doesnt grab me and it leaves me feeling at the end of the piece, the same way I felt at the beginning. There is no condemnation in that comment, just honesty.

With that...I say All Hail the outcasts of the Caste system.

Thank you for reviewing my story. I love to write about people experiencing deep emotion. Vengence, jealosy, pride, vanity; these things and more are manifest through my charcters and their relationships with one another. It is important for me to bring more to the page than what is expected. I only fear that my insistance on staying true to the lives of my characters drives readers away. Too bad. I think they are missing a great story. Prehaps when I get the next chapter up it will provide a different perspective on the book. Thanks again for reading.
