My name is Desiree.

What brings me to this website is my love for poetry and storytelling. At this time I consider myself more of a poet, than a writer or author.
I do not have the patience to write stories, not because they frustrate me but, because I cannot follow through with a solid idea long enough to finish a good, wholesome story. This is one of the reasons I am here, to learn and get feedback.
Feel free to be constructively critical of my work.



My writing is usually inspired by random musings, beautiful people, and the ridiculousness that has always defined my life. Good or bad.

I have pretty much always written poetry and my style has definitely changed over the years, but I'm never sure how to describe it.

I like to experiment

I always want the reader to find the meaning within themselves, that to me, is pure art.
