About Me

i take my coffee black, my scotch neat, and my life filled with delusions of grandeur. each morning the nocturnal whimsy, which i so enjoyed, fades and leaves only remorse and mucus in my eyes.

When I have time I will read your existentialist virtue ethic, seems most interesting even just glacing at it :)

Thanks for the review of the elegy. Obviously, it's a pretty raw piece for now - and I always decide on punctuation last. In many ways, I was originally constrained by the audience, namely, those family members whom I'm gonna read it to, so it will evolve eventually into a "symbolic elegy" in time, so those abrupt non-transitions will more than likely disappear. Hopefully, who knows. One of the greatest challenges a writer faces is knowing when to trust the subconcious rather than the concious. Again, thanks.

I briefly glanced at your nietzsche/aristotle work, sounds interesting. The danger of dichotomies...I would recommend "befriending" Steven Van Neste", he is on my friends list. Steve also has a philosophic temperment. There are also some nietzsche/sartres groups out there, if you're so inclined.

Hi Elliot,

The tone of the song LET ME is in the tradition of Leonard Cohen or Nick Cave, not at all boy band. As far as the structure, singers can often leave the traditional meter for a moment or two. As far as improper english goes, some of us choose poetry because there are no rules. Thank you for the review. Please go to youtube and check out Cave or Cohen.

Hey,

Thank you for the review of Gyroscope. I've been trying new things lately, whether they work or not, to expand. With that last line, I was going for a dose of sarcasm, and the lines before it buit up to it. Thanks for stopping by. :)
