About Me
The summary: Writer/artist/activist; delights in absurdity; lives for friends and family; worships Ella the Wonder Dog; becomes giddy over cheese, Fran Lebowitz, McSweeney's, Otis Redding, and the luge. The specifics: I have been published in literary magazines which have gone under, as well as a newspaper which folded; I currently have 24 writing projects and a comic strip, all in search of representation and publication. Additionally, I am the producer/director/participant of a documentary film that is in preproduction limbo. If days become longer than 24 hours, I will complete the script and finally perform my one-woman show at a venue which has been waiting patiently. I prefer the company of individuals who are witty, but never cruel; intelligent without being judgmental; and, adventuresome without the need for danger. Though I thrive in hoity-toity discussions, often I would rather crawl around the floor with goofy kids, all of us pretending to be lizards. I have no aspirations to be the ruler of the planetary system; I would rather that my interactions always have a foundation of kindness. Lastly, it must be stated that I am highly skilled with power tools. That is an extremely significant quality.
