As a kid, I kept to myself, feeding an already overactive imagination with fantasies of all sorts. At any given point, my future career list always had at least three goals (astronaut, vet, astronautical engineer, virologist, lawyer, commercial pilot to name a few) - however, "novelist" was never left out. My line of reasoning must have been to have a couple careers on the side to give ideas for the "main" career of writing.

My life went through many twists and turns and the only thing that has remained throughout it all is writing. I love it, but at the same time am scared of it. Many tell me I am a good writer, but I believe it's a raw gift that needs developing. Perhaps that's why I haven't posted anything.

It's a fear I am conquering, though. Because it's impossible to be a writer without writing. So that's why I'm here. To conquer fear and to fall in love with the art all over again, and in the process to succeed in learning and growing.
