Not so fond of happy endings. Well, distantly, I am, but a writing guide of mine says that when you write, it's like shooting an arrow, and you can only hope it lands at the ending you want. My arrow (my beginning, my middle) usually ends up in the shithole right at the end of the book--death, despair, the usual. But make no mistake--I'm far from Shakespeare when it comes to tragedy. I guess I'm too amateurish for that, but keep in mind that I'm inexperienced.
