About Me
I live in south Texas after many years in Colorado and several years wandering. After dismissing Kerouac, Snyder and others as being sad old men who were only trying to recall how much they drank when they were young, and whom time had passed by without a backward glance, I find myself hitchhiking back toward them, feeling the pangs of my lost youth.
The dog in the picture is not mine. He is a stray who spent an afternoon with me in my office. He is a good dog, and I hope his wandering days are at an end and he has found a worthy home. He reminds me that, in the midst of turmoil and upset, it's important to take full advantage of the chance shelter life offers.
