About Me
I have always found a certain residual magic to linger between the pages of a great book. When I find myself reading I do not see sparks of light and puffs of smoke, but I feel as if traces of some ethereal creativity can be seen upon it's pages. Some are left by the artist and creator and others by the past owners. Second hand books are a favorite of mine; my most prized is a text book of poetry I 'obtained' from the library of my old high school. It was last checked out in 1968 by a studious youngster who scribbled tiny cursive notes all along each page, analyzing each phrase like it was scripture. I feel it's my own piece of proof that there are people who feel words are powerful and fun, and interesting. Therapeutic even.
I am 19 years old living in a small appartment with my partner Alex, she is currently taking a college course to become a baker and has already received a job. Together we cook, talk, create and are raising a kitten by the name of Arnold. He likes soup.
