Hello there,
My name is Marlene aka CrimsonNi and I've been writing (free writing, short poetry, and story writing) since I was ten years old. Before entering high school, I lived in numerous rough neighborhoods that my mother had felt were too unsafe or my sister and me to play in. Because of that, we resorted to creative playing, coloring, imagination play time, and LOTS of TV time. Now, many may think that watching so much television would have naturally rotted our minds, it did the contrary. Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Toonami, and Kids WB in the 90s were all amazing networks that influenced my being, especially Toonami. Being introduced to anime and having the pleasure of comparing Japanese animations to American cartoons and absorbing those differences was the best part of my years!
Laughing and biting my nails in suspense because of shows like Scooby-Doo, Dexter's Laboratory, Jonny Bravo, Powerpuff Girls, Dragonball Z, Yu Yu Hakusho, G Gundam, Robot Jones, Tom and Jerry, Looney Tunes, Transformers, Gundam Wing, Prince of Tennis, One Piece, Naruto, POKEMON (lol) and so many more that I wish I can remember on this spot has made me treasure my memories as a child all the more. My vivid and dark imagination is thanks to these very shows.
I could go on and on and I wish there was a better to thank everyone and thing that has always inspired me and become my muse but there would never be enough time and I tend to have the memory of a goldfish.... *sad face
So I leave this to all who take the time to read this and/or any of my stories. I am someone who has serious procastination issues and who has ADD and I take forever to post and I'm in college and I'm always thinking of an AND so that I could go on forever without having to face the end. But I do promise that whatever half ideas I produce whether here or anywhere else, I will always be thankful to you and repay that thanks in some way.
