Well, us being writers and all, I could start this introduction by taking a look at my shelf. I see Stephen King’s Dark Tower, Proulx’s Heart Songs, May Sinclair’s Mary Oliver, Niffnigger’s Time Travellers Wife and Sittenfeld’s American Wife. I see Barry’s The Secret Scripture, Pratchet’s Wintersmith, Woolf’s Mrs Dalloway and Collin’s Woman In White. I also see Dara O’Brien’s Tickling the English (A great Stand up comic) Just looking at that list now I see my taste is kind of eclectic. It fits the kind of person I am though, or think I am. I could dive off here into a rant on subjectivity and what we believe we are and what we really are but i'll leave it.
