About Me
For me poetry is about emotion, and most of the time when I write I try not to edit too much, if at all, because I believe that it'll only dimish the emotion. For the last few years writing has helped me to keep myself sane (though some people who read my stuff will believe to the contrary lol) and I enjoy it a lot. I have only one real peeve when it comes to writing; don't ever tell me to rewrite a story, you're not my teacher. You can suggest that I redo it a certain way or with something changed, but don't full out tell me too. Besides that I welcome any suggestion and critique. Can't become a better writer if I don't know where my weak point is, right?
"Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars." (Kahlil Gibran)
Whenever a taboo is broken, something good happens, something vitalizing. Taboos after all are only hangovers, the product of diseased minds, you might say, of fearsome people who hadn't the courage to live and who under the guise of morality and religion have imposed these things upon us. ~Henry Miller
