Christina May Shanaberg

I am a former member of North Shore Writers' Guild in Willoughby OH. I have had numerous poems published and letters. I am, currently, working on a screen play that I hope will interest my cousin-inlaw, Bo Hopkins (Actor/Director.) The working title is "Where's Adam," inspired by my estranged son, Dennis. I was a lyricist for a Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist, the late Dennis Martin (Fletterich,) for several years, and hope to write with my distant cousin, Terry Tufts, Canadian Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist, someday soon. I, also, worked for "Weekly Reader (Xerox Educational Publications,") when it was located in Columbus OH; I worked in personnel and, mostly, was a proofreader, for about two and one-half years. I am open to work as a lyricist for any aspiring musician and can be contacted at 740-397-6259. I have started looking into creating a Writer's Guild in Mount Vernon OH, but writers can be so hard to deal with sometimes; even the name is hard to decide (this is the home of Dan Emmett and many other writers, including Paul Lynde.)

I am, also, a singer; mostly, in church, in nursing homes, and Sweet Adelines.

During the course of my life, I have played the following musical instruments: the recorder, E flat baby clarinet, B flat clarinet, alto clarinet, bass clarinet, contra-bass clarinet, oboe, bassoon, english horn, fife, alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, baritone saxophone, organ, piano, and electronic keyboard. I have, also, dabbled with the flute, harmonica, violin, and of course, tamborine.
