About Me
Tracey Hardie is originally from Sanford Maine, but was relocated as a child and raised in Charleston, SC where she still resides. The uniqueness of the "Low Country" has sculpted her to be a refined southern belle and she considers the "Low Country" as a piece of heaven on earth. She was once asked to define herself with one word: the word she selected was "passion." She feels that if one is passionate about all aspects of their lives, it will be filled with love and an undying willingness to fulfill one's dreams. All of Tracey's poems are written with or about passion and the words are all from the heart.
At one time, Tracey thought that due to her disabilities of Attention Deficit Disorder and Dyslexia, she would never have the ability to write. Tracey stumbled into writing in 1999 by chance with an online writer who felt the emotions of her words. He encouraged her to join an online poetry club where her talents flourished. Tracey still struggles with her disabilities, but does not let obstacles deter her from various challenges she faces.
Because she was given encouragement and was not intimidated by failure, she is now a respected poet with peers and fans. She has been published by the Poetry Nook, Poetic Reflections and has many of her poems showcased on various websites online.
