Catty Gee

I'm Cat. Not by name, my name is a lot more boring and a lot less defining; not by nature either, I don't have fluffy tail or long white whiskers. I'm a combination of certain things, attributes that may seem to contradict each other, a mix of mutually exclusive ingredients that result in a fairly neutral concoction.

I'm an upbeat person, with an incredibly pessimistic point of view. I'm generous and apparently caring, but as stingy as they come, and incredibly selfish at times. I'm ambitious and driven, but a scaredy-Cat when opportunities present themselves to me.

I'm a storyteller. Maybe not the best, maybe not even a good one, but I am one. I take pride on my creativity, which most often than not proves to be my worst enemy, one that I have to tame down and keep in check in my everyday work. I've written stories my whole life, the first one I finished when I was six - admittedly, a pretty awful one -, the last one...

I'm a mind full of ideas, full of new stories, but lacking of any endings whatsoever. I've started so many novels that I thought were worthwhile only to throw them in my tiny virtual trashcan when I was almost through with them. This is it. This is the time when things change.

Let me cultivate my yin and yang and give birth to a story. Let me become, with your help, reviewers, the writer I want to be.
