About Me

I'm a student of life who keeps her eyes wide open on the world and is living to tell about it. I write short stories, poems, and am working on a first novel. I write every moment I can and I can't imagine myself otherwise. Writing is more than a hobby (I hate when people assume that); it is my lifeblood, my soul, and I work to improve it daily. I have many other interests but I joined this page to post works that I wish to share, whether good or bad or indifferent. My styles are all over the place, a reflection of my jumbled existence, and I never know how to categorize anything. I also hardly ever paid attention in English 101 (hence the occasional misplaced semicolon and I have no clue what a dangling participle is so please don't quiz me ha ha ha) so apologies in advance for any grammatical or structure errors. :)

In any event, if you like my posts feel free to let me know. If you don't, likewise. A person cannot grow unless they are told what is keeping them stunted. Thank you for reading. :)

Once there was a liitle boy in church. He had to go to the bathroom so he told his mother, ''Mommy, I have to piss.''

The mother said, ''Son don't say piss in church. Next time you have to piss, say, 'whisper' because it is more polite.

The next Sunday, the litle boy was sitting by his father this time, and once again, he had to go to the bathroom.

He told his father, ''Daddy I have to whisper.''

The father said, ''OK. Here, whisper in my ear.''

Thanks for reviewing 'Line of Sight' (in the style of Steven Silvey), S.A.
I'm glad you liked it (but I hope you don't do it, ha ha).
Cheers,

Stev... er, Kevin.

Thanks for reviewing 'The Worst Poem Ever', S.A.
Don't worry, my poetry does get much better... although that is one of my personal favourites (but then I'm slightly biased).
Cheers.

"But close enough to smell the pizza" - are you TRYING to make me homesick???!!! Ha ha ha! Thanks for the review. It means a lot, especially during this weird week / month of too much looking back and not enough forward.
