"I desire the things which will destroy me in the end..." - Sylvia Plath
"Thus I rediscovered what writers have always known (and have told us again and again): books always speak of other books, and every story tells a story that has already been told..." - Umberto Eco
"Can you tell me who you are? Can you tell me where I am? I've forgotten how to see; I've forgotten if I can. If I opened up my eyes there'd be no more going back,'cause I'd throw it all away, and it all would fade to black..." - Bad Apple
Painted Echoes, Scents of Sin is an excellent poem both in form and in content...I love even the tone of the poetic persona as much as the word play...i have to confess, I posted that poem on my page with your name, of course, as the author telling that it is one of my favorite poems from the contemporary poets I have encountered.
