I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (psychotherapist) that has worked in the field for almost 20 years. My experience is vast, and I've worked with diverse populations. My interest in writing is to utilize experiences from my this. Humor has been my stabilizing force in coping with what I've seen and the pain I've witnessed.

I lost ALL my writing here at Writers Cafe, and became disheartened. I have not written since. Maybe I will find it within myself to regroup, and this time I will back up my writing!

My first marriage lasted for 11 years and resulted in two sons. As a single mother I adopted a sibling group of 3 older children. Now, married to husband number 2 we have a 13 year old daughter, and have been together 17 years. I am at the proverbial crossroads in my life. I am fighting Bilateral Meinere's Disease, and have suffered major hearing loss in both ears. I feel like a one arm paper hanger!! Without saying I am virtually useless as a therapist. Writing has always been a hidden, secret desire of mine, and recently a number of people have been encouraging me to write. So here I am! Since being home I've become an Ordained Minister, and considering the possibilities of what I will do next!! I don't think I have a lot of writing ablility, but intend to have fun with it!
