About MeIve been a fan of the vampire genre since the days of the original Dark Shadows on ABC television in the late 1960s and early 1970s (which gives you some idea of how long Ive been around). Im owned by a pair of dogs, a cat and have a wonderful daughter who loves me and tolerates my odd fixation not only on vampires, but also writing about them.
Bloodthirsty In Los Angeles came about as a personal desire to create something vampire related that not only incorporates some of Bram Stokers original Dracula, but also creates its own mythology in the process. I also hope to confront some logical questions about the mythos and address them in a manner that makes the story flow more naturally. One of my other goals is to create something a big step away from the whole reluctant vampire theme so popular in todays culture. I hope this story accomplishes this for you, the reader. Please keep in mind that while a particular chapter may appear a certain way one day, the process of editing it may change it over time, so its not out of line to reread things, and in fact I encourage it. Feel free to comment on the individual chapters with constructive criticism, encouragement, etc. Its all good. Comments
