About MeA writer by nature, I've always strove to find my niche in the writing world. It was when I discovered that I was not capable of becoming a doctor, that I discovered my love for writing. I decided to pursue this as a career. The thing that really attracted me to writing for a profession was the TV show "Pardon the Interruption." That show featured Michael Wilbon and Tony Kornheiser, a pair of journalist for the Washington Post. It was at that moment, that I discovered that I wanted to become a Sports Journalist.
I've written for the UNLV Rebel Yell Sports department since 2004 and since then have taken over the Sports Editor position. My knowledge is not just limited to the realm of sports. At times, I can be found writing various "Paulosophies", Poker Articles, Small Biographs (which has earned me the nickname of Bio Paul) or Fictional Stories. I am currently working on my first novel called: "Dueling Aces" and it is based off a rivalry between two poker players whose pride and money get in-between their old friendship. My ulimate goal is to write for the Washington Post or the LA Times' sport department. Other than that I just enjoy writing and love it to the point where I have countless amounts of notebooks ready to go. |
