My name is Rayne and I have been writing since high school. I took a long vacation from writing, and slowly starting to come back into it again. I admit that I am not the greatest writer, I'm just doing what I love to do - it is still a learning process. But I'm in love with it.
I've been known to write a lot of dark stuff, but I write whatever comes to mind - dreams, thoughts, politics, fantasy, and dark. Poetry has always been a release through my own mental demons, suffering from mental disorders, and an expression of my being in todays society. So enter my mind, if you dare, but enter at your own risk.
I have to apoligize to those people who write a lot of books, if you are one of those people and you would like to be friends - keep in mind that I am a TERRIBLE reviewer for books. I seem to have more patience for poetry than stories as good as they might be.
READ MY WORK, YOU'LL BE READING MY MIND "The creative process is a cocktail of instinct, skill, culture and a highly creative feverishness. It is not like a drug; it is a particular state when everything happens very quickly,a mixture of consciousness and unconsciousness, of fear and pleasure; its a little like making love, the physical act of love."
-- Francis Bacon
The greatest poet on Earth! I love her darkness and her words. She's the reason I keep writing today. My muse, Otep. Good stuff, check her out.
Congrats. I've been caught up in routine myself lately, though I seem to be determined to try and achieve things I know I never will. You seem to have it sorted out now :)
Sounds interesting. I'll send you a link to my Blog as a PM once I get back home. My phone doesn't seem to like the PM system, and I don't wish to make it too public ATM. What else is new?
Hey, what's up? Have you read my status update? The reason I've been so quiet recently, other than not having the time, is that I've started my own Blog. The cafe has become more stable now after the recent changes, but I just couldn't take it anymore.
But you have no excuse.. ;)
I've noticed you have an unpublished write, so I'm looking forward to reading it.
BTW - I'm traveling through Canada at the moment, so blame auto correct on my phone if anything doesn't make sense.
Sounds like a tough choice. If it's something you want to do you should consider it, since it seems like you'll have everything figured out. You could also apply somewhere else for your next semester, so moving doesn't have to mean giving up on school. I also know quite a lot of people who did their bachelors/masters while working, if you think you could manage both.
Just remember that there's no right or wrong decision, and even if whatever you choose doesn't work out you could always go for the second option.
I'm doing well. I've just been busy at work and traveling around, so I haven't had much spare time to write. Hopefully it'll be a bit calmer in the next few months. And how about you?
