Hm...was gibt es über mich zu sagen?

I am 46 years old. I am from Germany.
I am a technican at a high-tech research and development centre.
I am happily married and I have three wonderful children. Two bodily children and one 'adopted daughter'.

I guess the reason I am here is because I want to improve my English.
I am not a poet, at the best a storywriter. I search help on my way to improve my English. I don't need polite reviews. That helps me not. I search tips, suggestions, food for thought.
Perhaps the one or the other of you can help me on my way.
I like writers like Dan Brown, Frank Schätzing and Ken Follett.
My hobbies are reading, Geocaching and video and photo editing.
