About Me

Currently a children's therapist, which I love completely even though it steals my writing time. Currently I'm living at home, working as children's outpatient therapist and an Assistant Colorguard Instructor at a local high school, as well as dreaming and writing as often as possible.

The story I'm currently focusing on is Young Adult/Urban Fantasy, dealing with dreams and hypersensitive minds in an oh-so-slightly futuristic Wales. My "Think Forward" series is a collection of short stories exploring the secondary characters from this piece - hopefully, reading these will give you an idea for what the book is like (and if you'd like to read it, I'd love feedback!).

Age: 26
Interests: Writing, making music videos, colorguard, Disney, being Alice in Wonderland, cheese, Armenia, Wales, dreams, dance, Smosh, piano, psychology, milkshakes, Lord of the Rings, rats, purple eyes, Sailor Moon, doodles, Animorphs, anything by Jennifer Weiner/Jackson Pearce, capes, olives, Faeries, family, cookie dough, and my teddy bears (Peppermint, Icie, Skew, Rosie, Anonymous, and Andre the Giant).
Occuptation: Children's outpatient therapist (mainly play therapy or CBT, depending on the age), and Assistant Colorguard Instructor
Faces: The Cold Face, The Hot-as-in-Good-Looking-Hot Face, The Hot-as-in-Melting-Hot Face, The Scared Face, The Aerosmith Face, The Excited Face, The Rain Face, The Last-First Game Face, The Flower Face, The Last Game Face, The Philadelphia Face, The Fighting-Toothless Face
Favorite Color: Blue
Current Musical Obsession: Florence and the Machine, and Lana del Rey (but Coldplay's "Clocks" is still one of my favorite songs)
Current Writing Projects - Hark, RubyDreams (along with Think Forward), Ameliorate, AsiaDawn, Elements, Smile, and Rainbow Girl.

HUGGING

It's wondrous what a hug can do.
A hug can cheer you when you're blue
A hug can say, "I love you so,"
Or, "I hate to see you go."
A hug is "Welcome back again."
And "Great to see you! Where 'er you been?"
A hug can soothe a small child's pain
And bring a rainbow after rain.
The hug, there's just no doubt about it --
We scarcely could survive without it!
A hug delights and warms and charms;
It must be why God gave us arms
Hugs are great for fathers and mothers,
Sweet for sisters, swell for brothers;
And chances are your favorite aunts
love them more than potted plants.
Kittens crave them, puppies love them,
Heads of states are not above them.
A hug can break the language barrier
And make your travel so much merrier.
No need to fret about your store of 'em;
The more you give, the more there are of 'em.
So stretch those arms without delay
And give someone a hug today!

Firstly, thanks for accepting my invite to join the "Beyond Fantasy" Group! How is your novel progressing, if you don't mind me asking? Like you, I am currently looking for a suitable job. I am also studying an IT course (part-time). I hope that this week is going well for you, Nicole?
