About Me

I am an ecclecticly eccentric poet, who is currently working on a book. I am an Actor/playwright. I have atteneded college under an acting degree. I've been toying with the idea of obtaining an English or Creative Writting degree as well.

As far as my poetry...It is my outlet. I used to bottle things up and show no emotion when something hurt me and through my writing I let out my pain, fear, as well as my abundance of joy at times. It helps me to become better in communication as well as brightens my thought life.

I grew up in a small town out in the middle of no-where Oregon. I moved to Alberta, Canada to attend college and that is where I was able to hone my poetry into a focus rather than a random feeling. My poetry from my high school days, in my opinion, was not very good, though I still have some of those pieces on my hard drive. I am missing one piece, that I dearly wish to recover. It is a piece that I wrote in mourning of my mentor who died during my senior year. Without him, I wouldn't have had the inspiration or the strength I have today (however little or great those may be at times). It was he who taught me not to fear being who I am.

Random facts:
During the summers between semesters, I worked as a wildland fire fighter. I have traveled as far south as La Paz, Mexico, as far North as Anchorage, AK, as far East as Saskatoon, SK Canada and as far West as Kodiak, AK. I love to travel and plan on traveling Europe at some point in my life. I love the outdoors and just about everything to do in them. I also love storms, preferably Thunder/Lightning storms. I could write more mundane things here, but I shall refrain.

Most of all I am me, and though I want you to like me I realize that not everyone will, and I am ok with that.

PS. To my reviewers and well everyone: I believe that telling you my thoughts on my own writing will impede upon your interpretation and preception of my writing as a reader. You have every right to think as you will upon what my writing means, even if I personally think you wrong. But I shall never tell my thoughts, except to my closest friends, whom inspire me to write as such.

wow, how awesome that I have inspired you in such a way. I'm proud. I just have a life that is better described by words and not actions...including myself...and my thoughts are everything
