About Me

I am an artistic soul, a wonderer between lives, continents, empty spaces, looking to share my thoughts, beliefs, creative views and fascinations with delightful and captivating souls.

Coming by evening through the wintry city
We said that art is out of love with life.
Here we approach a love that is not pity.

This antique discipline, tenderly severe,
Renews belief in love yet masters feeling,
Asking of us a grace in what we bear.

Form is the ultimate gift that love can offer -
The vital union of necessity
With all that we desire, all that we suffer.

A too-compassionate art is half an art.
Only such proud restraining purity
Restores the else-betrayed, too-human heart.

Favourite quotes:
"Life beats down and crushes the soul and art reminds you that you have one." Unknown
"None are so hopelessly enslaved as those who falsely believe they are free."
"The artist is nothing without the gift, but the gift is nothing without work." Emile Zola

"Any idiot can face a crisis, it's the day-to-day living that wears you out."
Anton Chekhov

"A man paints with his brains, not with his hands."
Michelangelo Buonarroti

"Art washes away from the soul, the dust of everyday life." Picasso

"Life has always taken place in a tumult without apparent cohesion, but it only finds its grandeur and its reality in ecstasy and ecstatic love." George Bataille

Esoteric Theosophical Philosophy

The truth within your consciousness is like the horizon that recedes before you. As you journey towards your inner quest, in the direction of the leading edge of your belief acceptance. And your knowledge and understanding of the prevailing path grows, the next ascending possibility will always beckon you forth. For wisdom brings together within the truth of your existence, your souls essence, in which is attained by your own experience. Pursue your goal of achieving the truth within your reality of consciousness, in the most direct manner. The paradox is of course, is that you are both the voyager and the pathway; the treasure that you seek is most often slumbering within you or undeveloped in your quest. Its always within you and has always been and always will be. It has not been hidden from your sight, for the most part, its likely you have hidden from it, so wake it up, face it, and accept it, than use it, by becoming it.

Arte-

Ja, sorry. I have not been around much, lately. I am working on some custom software to use on an extremely tight schedule, so I have been running around like a chicken with my head cut off pulling together the project. It is not the most exciting work, but it has its moments.

I will read your new story ASAP. It is at the top of my list. I have not yet dragged myself out of the Depths of the Read Request Abyss that followed upon a weeklong vacation.

Luvu,
Gabe

> You're so sweet...

I try. :)

> I miss at least 5 of my poems... :(( i can't believe i lost them. It is my fault that I didn't record them somewhere else. I will have to dig deeper for Centre of The Soul but it depends on luck if it is to be revived.

I searched for a cached version of it on Google, but I could not find it. :( At least, I tried. My anthology will survive, but I just really loved that poem and wanted to see it resurrected. :)

Luv,
Gabe

Ok, you know how you have a play list on your bio? You can find a smooth jazz song, and make a playlist, add to the piece, amd voila!
Or, you could choose to let the writer use their imagination to come up with their own music....
