About Me
My name is April. I am very different from most people. Until the age of 16 I had no loved ones involved in the military. But the summer of my Junior year I fell in love with a soldier. A few months after that my brother who I am very close to also joined the Army. Most of my poetry and stories anymore are about the hardships of being an Army girlfriend or an Army sister. Now at the age of 17 about to graduate college I am faced with loving those in the military Poetry is my way of putting all of my pain onto the paper to get it out of my head. I hope that you enjoy my amateur poetry. Comments are always welcome anything to help my writing improve.
