I am an emerging writer based in California. My first language is Russian, and writing in a second language (English) isn't always easy. I rely on a dictionary, multiple revisions, and the help of native speakers. My niche is nonfiction, specifically creative memoirs about Soviet times — stories with dialogues (much like novels). I hope to explore fiction in the future as well.

Here, for now, I might practice writing very short humorous stories, one-liners, or puns—something silly and lighthearted.
