About Me

I'm 19, have a passion for writing, and am super awesome. No, I'm just kidding about that last one... I don't know if that's true. haha. I live in possibly the smallest, most boring town in the upper east side of Wyoming -- the equality state! Beyond my love for writing, I enjoy snowboarding ( recent knee surgery has left my board dusty and near forgotten) painting and art, reading, football, and video games! (that's also because of the knee surgery...)
I can tell you that all of my works are in the first draft and they do contain mistakes. I have no problem admitting my flaws so if you see something, just call me on it. Also, my works are completely fiction. Though, I do wish some of the characters were real. Harley & Wray. winkwink

DOES ANYONE READ THESE????? SERIOUSLY!!!

And as another little side note, I'm happy to review the works of others, but I really, really like to have the favor returned. I am one of those writers who writes for myself, but also likes to be encouraged by others as well. So yeah. Happy writing to ALL!

*********Oh, I have quite the thing for the lead singer of Fall Out Boy!!! Yeah, the leader singer, not the other dude! *********

If you want any of the in between chapters for the story about Poise, let me know and I will send them to you through email. I needed more space and there a couple of other reasons. Thanks for everyone's reviews. They really did help.

Immortalis: Prologue
A Story by Jocelyn Elizabeth
I felt his grip tighten around my ankle as he dragged me down the hallway. Clawing at the hardwood floor, the splinters stuck my fingers. Tears spilled down my cheeks in vain. There was no one to save me.

To those who have dreams of being a published author: Do not give up! Everyone has troubles. The successful are those you persist, who keep their heads up, who believe in themselves and their stories. As Ralph Waldo Emerson said,
"Dear to us are those who love us ... but dearer are those who reject us as unworthy, for they add another life; they build a heaven before us whereof we had not dreamed, and thereby supply to us new powers out of the recesses of the spirit, and urge us to new and unattempted performances."

How ARE you? I was thinking about your old story the other day. The one about Harley and Poise. Did you ever finish it? I loved that story. :'( Sometimes, I think about it randomly. Then I wonder if they lived happily ever after.

I am chipper. Today, my mother got in a car crash at Starbucks. She was not hurt, but my computer was an unfortunate fatality. Her chai spilled all over it! So... my hard drive was fried! All my stories, lost! I was crying at work and the tech guy was like, "Why are you CRYING?!"

How are you?! Chasing your dreams of becoming a writer, I hope. WC has gone to hell. No one reviews anymore, and all the little kiddie writers are writing HORRIBLE vampire stories that make me want to cry. You need to come back! I miss reading your stories. Harley.. EEK!! (Insert girlish scream.) I need you to come BACK!

I look foward to hear from you!!

A boring novel? Haha, I'm struggling to find the discipline to sit down and write my interesting novel, or rather the novel I am interested in writing.

Struggling for ideas to write about? Unfortunately not, I seem to struggle with the discipline to sit down and write. I generally get too many ideas, or at least concepts for stories, but with no discipline I will possibly never write half of my ideas.

If you can't get anyone to publish you then why don't you just try and go self published? I think that is one path I would be interested in going myself. I would have to do LOADS more research into the publishing malarkey but I think it is possible. Especially with the new age of digital printers so you no longer have a minimum order to fulfil.

Get an artist to do some pretty art work for you. Put together your book on the computer, take it down to the printers and work with them to get a finished product, then market it over the internet and possibly send a few copies off for reviews and to book stores to see if they will stock your book.

I'm still figuring out how you submit books to Amazon, I know there is a way some how.

That I shall do. I think I am finally managing to piece together the plot line for my story 'An Echo of Love' so I will be picking up thats story again very shortly. I will let you know when I have something new for you to read ;)

Also you need to write some stuff as I now have you on an RSS feed in antisipation of your next new wonderful piece of writing.

As for the agent, just do it. If you never do then you will always be wondering what if. If they gun you down then ah well, at least you had the courage to move your work forward.

Hope your week has been good!

YEY!! She is BACK!!

I know they changed the site around a good few months back. I think I am slowly beginning to get used to it, though I am not all that sure I like this new design, I think the old one looked nicer.

You should get some of your new pieces posted up. I need to do shed loads more writing I think, deffinatly so. We shall see how that goes amongst all of my other projects.

Great to hear from you again Amy! Keep up the writing!

God Bless

Nate

Hey Lass,

I havent been on here in a good long while. University has kind of kept me busy (along with a new PS3 hehe).

I just popped on here out of the blue and began reading some of my old stories and well now I am inspired once again to continue writing them. I had planned to change some of the characters and story line but after having a re-read I think I quite like the setting I had before.

How is everything with you and your writing?

Hope you had a Fabulous Christmas and heres to wishing you a very Happy New Year!

God Bless

Nate
