Alies

Hi,
My name is Alies. I'm a 18-yearold girl from the Netherlands.
I remember writing my first fanfiction at the age of eleven. It was about what happened after Dragonball GT. That was when my goal in life formed.
I was afraid of loosing this goal in the years I grew older, because people told me that that would happen. I remember telling someone who was 17 at the time that I, who was only 12 or 13, wanted to become an author. The only thing she said was: 'O! How cute! At your age I wanted to be one too!'
It kinda made me loose faith in really achieving my goal. But I just went on. When I was 14/15 we had a subject on secondiary school that inspired me: (CKV; 1/4th of the year they spoke about literature and we had to write some on our own. My teacher said it was real literature instead of lectur. Still don't believe it.) When I was 16/17 we had a subject called Literature. This year really inspired me more and more. My literatureteacher read some of my work and told that I had talent for writing. But I guess that was just because I dared to let her read.
Now I'm 18. I just finished secondairy school and I'm going to study Dutch on University in a couple of weeks.
