Alain Ximmi

Hello everyone,
I'm Alain. New to the site and writing in general. I have to confess that while my love for literature is very much real it comes a close second to my love of cinema. However, I am well aware that all great movies begin with a great script and since the only thing I know for sure about script writing is that it's a highly complicated and technical forum, I've decided to first try my hand at mastering the essential basics; writing a good story.
Though I am looking forward to exploring the how to's of screenwriting (part of the reason I chose this community) eventually.
I will be dealing in fiction for the most part, at least for now. But probably not fan fiction, it's just not my bag. I'll be open to criticism, especially spelling corrections and grammar. I want my work to be at its best after all so please feel free to let me know your thoughts, in fact I'm looking forward to it.
