About Me
I started writing for fun when I was about nine, but I became more serious about actually taking the time to write when I was eleven. Since I started writing, I have played around with many styles and genres, and I have found that poetry, historical fiction, fantasy, and science-fiction are my favorites to write and read, although I enjoy reading and writing works from many genres.
Writing is how I examine the nature of humanity and the human psyche, which has fascinated me since I was eight and discovered two books which became very special to me: "Katherine," by Anya Seton and "The King's Swift Rider," by Mollie Hunter. These two historically-based books introduced me to the idea that humans are neither all good nor all evil, and that each person is seen in many different ways by those around him.
Other than that, I'm a bibliophile who also enjoys music, art, dance, needlework, sports, intelligent conversation, and anything chocolate...especially if it is mint-chocolate.
