About Me
I was born in Brooklyn, NY on September 1st, 1969. My mother decided to leave my father when I was 3 years old --she wasn't the old fashion type to stay just because my pops was the bread winner of the house, she endured verbal and physical abuse and that was the motivator for her to leave and not allow money to be the motivator for her to stay. We relocated to Harrisburg, PA. We lived in the confined projects where I learned to pay attention to what the world had to offer poor folk. NOTHING! Anyway, I lived in the P-Funk (that's what we called our projects) for 15 years of my life, and all I could think about was getting out of there. I wanted to leave so bad that I enlisted in the Army just before my eighteenth birthday. After receiving my high school diploma, I was shipped off to Ft. Jackson, Columbia, SC for basic training. I traveled to many places; places I thought I would never ever see and I appreciate the opportunity given to me to experience them. I got out of the Army in 1996. I worked different odd jobs then on August 15th, 2003 I moved to Rochester, NY nine months after meeting my girlfriend online. Yes, I know that was a risky thing to do but that was 4 years ago and we're still together. I guess that's pretty much it. And that's my inspiration for writing a book. I always enjoyed writing but I never actually thought about writing a book.
