I have taken a liking to poetry and my favorite is the Haiku. Mostly because it's really short and doesn't have to rhyme, but also because you can say so much with so little. As for genres i enjoy anything from fantasy to mystery and horror. Really as long as it captures my attention i'll find it entertaining and will try to emulate what i have read. Such as recently i read H.P. Lovecraft and have started tinkering with spooky stories.
