About Me
I am a self-published author of "Speak It Loud," a collection of 22 poems filled with food for thought. I am a self proclaimed activist in my community. I am a parent of 3 beautiful children. I became the first woman journeyman plasterer ever hired by the city of Detroit, and the first woman journeyman in my field to work on the GM Resource Center Project. A 4.0 GPA college student.
Writing is my passion, I have been writing since elementary school. You can find my works all over the Internet, some of the places i've posted my original works are Black Planet, Heluim, Justice Denied, Opinion Magazine, Lit.org, Facebook, etc...
Currently in College working on my degree in Liberal Arts / Working on a one man play "Paul Robeson Revisited" with Broadway & Theatre Opera Singer William Clerence Marshall; Where a few of my original works will be performed in spoken word by Mr. Marshall.
My next book "Pot Liquor" A collection of non-fictional Poetry, Chronicles, Articles, Essays and Theory, will be published 2009....Publisher hunting as we speak!
