About Me"Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments, love is not love Which alters when it alteration finds, Or bends with the remover to remove: O no! it is an ever-fixèd mark That looks on tempests and is never shaken; It is the star to every wandering bark, Whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken. Love's not Time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks Within his bending sickle's compass come: Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks, But bears it out even to the edge of doom. If this be error and upon me proved, I never writ, nor no man ever loved.. " William Shakespeare ----------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm not sure how active I'm going to be or if my reappearance to this site will be temporary or not, to so I'll keep this short and sweet. I'm a 23 year old University graduate with a degree in Theatre Studies. It's much more interesting that it probably sounds to many people and I thoroughly enjoyed many of the courses I took. As can be imagine, theatre (and musicals) are a passion of mine. As is music, art, and literature. That being said though, I won't turn my nose up at a good movie (or crime show) and some popcorn . I game quite a bit though I wouldn't necessarily call myself a gamer. I prefer games that are open world, or at the very least have a bunch of side quests so I can explore outside of the main quest line. I also play D&D in a regular group. The past few years I haven't written much of anything. School and life have gotten in the way and after such a long time I feel as though I've lost a lot of the creativity I had when I started on this website. That being said though, I want to get back into exploring my own characters and put their stories to paper (metaphorically speaking, of course). I'm planning on finishing my first novel by the end of December 2018. *Ask me about the Authorship question ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ";; Hang in there, sometimes life hands you lemons, but then you can make lemonade...Of course, sometimes life pulls down your pants, runs a power sander over your naked butt, then pours lemons juice on your raw abraded buttocks. In that case, a cool citrus drink wouldn't really help, but darn it, you gotta hang in there anyway!" ~ Meredith "A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies, The man who never reads lives only one." ~ Unknown ♥ ~ 愛 ~ ♥ Words - as a Theatre Major and actor - that I live by. "Early is on time, on time is late and if you're late, you're fired." Theatrical Logic 101: "In is down, down in front Out is up, up is back Off is out, on is in And of course- Left is right and right is left A drop shouldn't and a Block and fall does neither A prop doesn't and A cove has no water Tripping is OK A running crew rarely gets anywhere A purchase line buys you nothing A trap will not catch anything A gridiron has nothing to do with football Strike is work (In fact a lot of work) And a green room, thank god, usually isn't Now that you're fully versed in Theatrical terms, Break a leg. But not really." Thanks to my Stagecraft 1 Prof. Peter McKinnon for finding this gem. Comments
