Pastor Jodi Serino

Minister Jodi Lynn Serino of Chicago, Illinois, wife of national radio personality, Jerry Silvers, of Christian Internet Radio Station, The New Praise Radio, is the mother of 7 children, and grandmother of 8. she was called by God at an early age. Trained from infancy in the word of God, she dedicated her life to God at the age of 17. In harmony with Proverbs 22:6 which says, “train up a child in the way he should go, and when he becomes older he will not depart from it”, it was years later that the seeds planted in her by her parents and grandparents began to take root in her heart.
     In 2005, Mrs. Serino-Barbour was called by God, and anointed for the ministry of being a Watchman over the house of Israel and speaking God’s Word to His people. In harmony with Ezekiel chapters 2 and 3, her intense training, in order to be able to carry out this assignment from God, began. In 2009, Mrs. Serino-Barbour fully accepted this call upon her life and symbolized this by rededicating her life to God through water baptism in Jefferson City, MO.
     In 2011, after completing Ministerial Training at West Gate Christian Center in Clarksville TN, Mrs. Jodi Serino-Barbour was ordained, licensed, and given the office of Minister of Communications where she served as Administrator, under the tutelage of Pastor, Bishop Kenneth Smith. Bishop Smith, acknowledging the prophetic calling upon the life of Minister Jodi Serino-Barbour, blessed and anointed her to walk more fully in her prophetic calling, and then released her to come to Harrisonburg VA where she currently attends Bethel AMEC, Harrisonburg VA and serves as a member of the Praise and Worship Team.
     Minister Serino-Barbour studied Business Administration in the Health Services Management field, as a full-time student at DeVry University, with an understanding that the church is the true hospital. She is an aspiring artist, a published writer, and known for boldly speaking the Word of God as she ministers within the body of Christ with an encouraging and up-building word.
     In 2013, Minister Serino-Barbour began her online radio broadcast, ABASilence Ministries, on the New Praise Radio – Christian Internet Radio, in which she studies and discusses the Word of God while empowering listeners through a practical application of God’s Word in their lives.
