A Poem by Amanda Avalon
Spotted skin stretch eyes heavy of suitcase. Shallow breath and crusted dishware sun mockingly brightens the house through windows only a hint of light provided it is so bright outside there are still certain corners of this unit that are pitch black. Hair tangled amass cats litter on the floor green glass vase sits on windowsill. Living in mind a maze within a haunted forest neverending. A sneak a stake a snake in the grass all the things they have said about you are true aren't they right words cut and stick like glue disable and leach. Breakapart. Two stings two strings of orchids stuffed inside warmed with moisture. Spring has sprung but not sprung enough not into anything tangible just yet. Green grass peeks just above my chest apples and oranges no compare just apples ripe and waiting to be plucked plucked at plucking the grass with a smile. Isolate two days waiting for the day lying in an open field destroying everything only so it can be rebuilt plant new soil a nomad. Renouncing all duties angering them while escape routes are planned chutes and ladders tumble down the slide while the man appears again in your subconscious and repeatedly tries to maul you not in a good way frightening. Consistency fails there is nothing yet to date that has been constant therefore inconstant like the weather or the moon or the sun or ambulances in the distance wondering how many of them make it to the hospital on time. They will spread their seed all over each man each thought like a different-colored dot on canvas smeared together into one nightmare waiting for a call fall have a ball. I need more time cats in the cradle as much as its comes and goes there is one thing that always comes back. Bread in a basket I would not have it any other way

I had a better version of this I'd previously compiled, but thanks to the magic of computers it was erased. This is why we should still be writing things down on paper, that way only you have the power to erase what you create.
