Sentient SoliloquyA Poem by PeteLunatic indecisiveness aloud.I am monarch of all that I think. Cardboard cliches and plastic pretense. Juxtaposed jargon and worrisome words. Opined options. Difficult to discern fiction from reality. Kinda, sorta. Coulda, shoulda, woulda. What am I to do? Go for it on fourth down or punt? Take another card or double down? Either way, I won't like the result. What kind of dressing would you like? Do you want that put on the salad or on the side? Would you like the two for one special? Should I bring that out now or later? Feet dragging amid paralyzed procrastination. Thoughts dancing like sugar plum fairies. Will that be the large or the small? Do you want fries with that? What would you like on that pizza? Will that be cash or charge? Drive thru derangement. Do I control destiny or does destiny control me? This isn't brain surgery so just make up your mind already. Bear with me as I work this out ... ... in a sentient soliloquy ...
