PEOPLE IN THE DARK

A little child wants play and to achieve things... But he does not like the people in the world around him. He feels that they tease him and stare at him that he does not like.

I am a Little Child

I Love to Play and Dance

And to make Good Friends

But, I Fear the Dark!

I wish I could Fly like a Bird

And Run Fast like a Deer

I love to see the Moon, the Stars

And the Firefly at Night

Through the innocent eyes of a child every thing looks so perfect and beautiful but the fear of darkness in his little heart does not let him enjoy to the fullest... childhood should be protected 'cause it's the best phase of human life and unfortunately there are many children who have lost there childhood thanks to the people hidden in the dark .. blackening all the light!! really liked the concept!

True to the persona's characters, the tone sounds childish in an adorable way. Honestly, I don't see the people-are-staring-at-the-child part of this; instead, I find this poem more about a child doing childish things, thinking childish thoughts and fearing childish things. Nice poem.

I liked reading this one, too, Nayan.
I think it truly relates to a child's fear of being hated in the world. Well, it's my opinion, not really a fact...So others may want to argue against this...I'm not scared to argue about anything >:)

I like this, Nayan. Purposely simple and innocent as the world is seen through the eyes of a child. I shiver at the thought of returning to the darkness and confusion of childhood! Nice piece!
