The Sweetest GiftA Poem by Tate MorganCaught in the web of years that binds our lives so tight Giving all to each desires dreams for the hopes to loves delight
My loving wife "Rebecca"
We the frail likes of which have never known so sweet Do love each others heart alone in secret places that we meet ____________________________ We touch each of the other in the dusk pearl of the spring Hold the light of love's embrace as both our hearts take wing ____________________________ Caught in the web of years that binds our lives so tight Giving all to each desires dreams for the hopes to love's delight ____________________________ Never was there a mood of mine lost in the love song of embrace That you gave my soul to sing in wonders lit by our secret place ____________________________ Think I must have eyes to see this heart so unknown till now Opened the light of imprisoned love that hung on the weighted bough _____________________________ Where dark the days of my past now lit by the bright sunshine I give the world another look to see its sweet gift as mine
