Gruesome scene of indescribable

 

Agony.

 

As mockers, scoffers watched in scornful

 

Apathy.

 

Darling of Heaven displaying great

 

Humility.

 

Amid crowds taunting

 

Profanity.

 

Dying for many in His

 

Humanity.

 

While holding the universe with His

 

Deity.

Author's Note

A recent scientific discovery of a substance called "Laminin" that is described as a family of proteins are an integral part of the structural scaffolding of basement membranes in almost every animal and predominantly human tissue " You see....laminins are what hold us together....LITERALLY. They are cell adhesion molecules. They are what holds one cell of our bodies to the next cell. Without them, we would literally fall apart. Then there is this coincidental picture of laminin which looks like a cross.

On the other hand, atom is what holds and binds every non living things or matter together. Man was able to harness its destructive force ( atomic bomb ) when he discovered how to split the atom. But what holds every matter in our world and entire universe in the first place ? Peter Higgs a nuclear physicist discovered this " Boson Higg subatomic particle that holds all matter together. It creates something out of nothing. Hence its dubbed as the God Particle.

However here is what the Scripture says - that there is an active, binding force that LITERALLY holds all the matter of the universe together. In Colossians 1:15-17, Apostle Paul also identifies that binding force: "He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation... all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together."

This is not only religious, Neil I find this one something philosophical. Day by day I realized how your poetry is pointing to a deeper dimension that sometimes I can hardly relate because of my limited knowledge. You have that gift to incorporate more than one aspect in your poetry- Science, Language, Philosophy and religion/faith.

Thanks for finding this piece Dhaye. Even science is now slowly reconciling their belief that their is a Designer and Creator. Just look at the planets who orbits around our solar system. They are all suspended in nothing . Not a single planet ever strayed from its intended orbital axis. If the earth ever move a mile closer to the sun or further. It would have been catastrophic here for us in earth. Lush continent like the south america and rain forrest will turn instantly into dessert. While few miles further will turn the Philippines into mini-ice age. And yet every planets in our solar system stay in their orbital course. The whole universe is really like a giant Krono clock working perfectly and harmoniously contrary to the theory that the universe started with planets colliding into each other. Hence the scientist referred to as the " Bing Bang Theory " . I called it the " Chaotic Theory " . Its humbling and overwhelming for me to comprehend that we have a loving God that controls everything in the universe. He is that powerful and yet also humble and loving and forgiving and merciful and compassionate and so on and so on . Wow HE really blow my mind away. How can someone be so powerful and yet so loving at the same time ??? It defies reason and logic. But the Bible say HE is... and His name is JESUS

Wonderful description and connection between all aspects of life, really I didn`t know about that little "laminin" looks so strange. I like your graph poem and the way you make strong accent on some special words, who let it sound like "drums" on mind, underlined in red color...The end is so incredible..Finally God hold us together, as well as the entire universe. But we can choose to be whole in the light of cross, or "fallen apart".

The way the world works and the way the entire universe and galaxies moves. How the planets revolves the sun and follows and " obeys " their intended orbital axis . How our world and planets orbit and stays in their axis . Not swerving further or closer to the sun which proves to be catastrophic. And their motions and paths are profoundly predicted. Imagine Sugar Plum while all these are in synchronize motion and combine with the beating of the human heart. It works like a perfect Krono Clock.
Its very hard for us to ignore that everything this vast and grandeur happened by luck or chance. Its too overwhelmingly beautiful that a Perfect Being who spokes the universe into existence .... is a Person that truly care and can be known as a friend.
I wish I could know and find this Perfect Person that spoked our universe with just one word into existence ...
