I mean  that they also ruined parts of the desktop client. The good thing to come out of cellphone has been getting rid of Java, which is not even a net positive with much bugs are in the NXT client that were not present for the Java one. That is what happens when a bunch of your engine devs that are important are stuck working on a single job for a long time lol. At least OSRS got the mobile version out of the way a lot faster. I mean if we get some new blood playing runescape because on a phone it can compete with s**t like raid shadow legends lol it could actually be the most beneficial thing for RuneScape in a long time. Similar to the miniclip boom.

I mean, OSRS tried and failed already. Their numbers spiked then pretty much returned to pre-mobile. It all really does after all of the mobile audience leaves is give a way to get vets to AFK more articles for longer amounts of time, which I figure promotes concurrent gamers, but isn't the type of activity you truly need to see in an MMO. It's an MMO, nevertheless everyone treats it.

The first new skill in OsRs should be an ability like something or merchanting. As it is I never play either game on mobile because the single logical time to play it's during my job breaks and they don't allow you to show the current time in RuneScape game on cellular so I'd be at risk of losing an eye on time.RS3 certainly has a larger team than OSRS though. But at the rate at lol could be changed by it. OSRS staff is about 40 individuals dedicated to RuneScape now, there are more individuals at Jagex involved with it of course.

I believe it is rated however. That won't stop them from giving up if it's not insanely successful. I just have not seen any sign from Jagex that they are eager to put in the effort required to create a successful full sized match. They couldn't even be bothered to cover another company enough money to finish making/maintain a very low effort runescape idle game.

What Warden meant by that comment is that, with all our current generation impacts, delivering that scale of content isn't something we do. At least not on a cadence we think any player would be pleased with. It is a part of what Warden was talking about with respect to reshaping the kind of content we make in this develop-from-home entire world, with a concentration on delivering smaller scale (but still significant ) content more frequently.

I'm interested, and not sure how much if anything else you can say about it. How frequently do you look at revitilization of outdated articles instead of adding fresh content? There is soooo much dead/stale content provided that it is a 20 year old game, things such as innovation definitely did a great deal for this, but I am curious how old minigames can be integrated or older quests/areas that haven't received love recently i.e. large parts of Karamja. I do think this could be quite intriguing; there are loads of things like this that I have personally wanted for a long time now. To name two:

I'd quit like to see this with other directors overly - RotS could easily be scaled by spawning 1 brother per missing player. These would both be pretty modest scale but have a huge impact IMO.
